I feel everyone has their own perspectives of hard work. Hard work to me is working for the nicer things in life. Actually caring about your job, in aspects of how it appears, quality of it, overall having pride in it. I know about hard work, I work hard at my job and it pays off I can get what I want. I take pride in my job a my frozen section, I make sure it always looks the best that it can. I don't do short cuts what's the point I'll just make more work for myself later. I think you should get things done the right way the first time. I definitely get annoyed at others who do nothing, but I know laziness does not pay off. Working hard can take you to different levels, make you strive for something more. The appreciation of a job well done is always nice. I know my bosses see me as a hard worker. Going to school full time and working full time has been one crazy ride, but in the end I know it will all take me somewhere. I'm not ashamed to say if I don't understand something if someone is better at a certain thing I want to learn from them. Expertise isn't everything someone my have a new approach or out look on the job, a fresh new set of eyes. I want input it always helps me to make myself more useful. I know what hard work is so much that I'm 25 and have carpal tunnel already lol. I wouldn't change working so hard it's help me grow into the person I am today. =)
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. ~Thomas Edison

i feel like we have the same work ethic. i dont know why people get jobs if they are not going to give it their all. it is sooooo annoying when you do the best that you can and then on top of that you have to pick up the slack of others. but like you said it all pays off in the end because it shows that your will to put in that extra effort to get the job done right. and yes input always does help! i love working with people who like to do their job because you can talk about it. (finding out easier and faster ways to get things done) Hard work always pays off even if no one sees it.. it makes you feel good to know that you are doing the best that you can do! :D
ReplyDeleteHello Casandra. I'd have to agree with your blog, and with Ambie's previous comment! It is an amazing sense of fulfillment when you are not only serious, but also passionate about your job. I began to learn this when I got my first job at 16, but I was never completely passionate about it. Now, with my serving job I am completely passionate about going into work.! Even though you are content with your current job, you should try finding a serving job as a waitress! You will find more pleasure in your work & also make more money, which is definitely a plus! I work at the spaghetti factory in redlands, you should go in and apply (; -Katie Bleer

We all have are moments were are job gets to us, but the people that sit around and do nothing should just stop complaining lol.
